The MIT Enterprise Forum (MITEF) Greece Startup Competition is a business skills accelerating competition in which Greek technology startups compete for prizes and international brand recognition. If you have an exciting new product or service, participating in MITEF Greece Startup Competition will give you access to the practical knowledge, mentorship, and resources to take your venture to the next level.
Competition winners are the best of the best in Greece, and will receive global recognition through the MIT Enterprise Forum Global, a global network devoted to enabling early-stage entrepreneurs to transform ideas into world-changing companies.

Key Dates & Deadlines
First round: Online application portal opens to eligible teams or companies on October 28, 2016. Applications’ Deadline is on December 30, 2016. By the end of January, 2015 the judges will select the top 25 entries. Semifinalists are individually notified and advance to the second round.
Second Round: From February 2, 2017 till May 6, 2017 the 25 semifinalist startups refine all aspects of their venture during this intensive period with access to mentors, training workshops, marketing, media- by local and international partners. The judging of the 2nd round will be done through live presentations and the result will be the top 10 teams that will proceed to the finals. The 10 Greek finalist teams will visit he MIT campus to be exposed to MIT’s diverse entrepreneurial culture, embodied by its technology, engineering, and innovation programs and will participate at MIT Bootcamp.
Final Judging & Award Ceremony: The top 10 finalists will get on stage on July, 6th, 2017 to pitch live to a high-profile panel of judges, which will select the winner and 2 runner ups. All winners and participants of the MIT Enterprise Forum Greece Startup Competition will be celebrated.
