Following the conclusion of the second round of the MITEF Greece Startup Competition 2017, that aims to unlock the growth potential of Greek startups and maximize their performance in order to scale faster and reach the global market, MIT Enterprise Forum Greece is proud to announce the 10 finalists selected to advance to the final round.
During the 2nd judging round, an extremely competitive process was completed a few days ago where the 24 semifinalists pitched live in-front of MITEF Greece’s well respected judging panel. Top-level Greek and international business executives, entrepreneurs and investors evaluated and selected the following 10 startups, listed in alphabetical order:
On Thursday, 6th of July, 2017, at 18:00, the Finals & Awards Ceremony of MITEF Greece Startup Competition will be held at the Central Amphitheater of NCSR Demokritos, in the framework of the 5th Hellenic Forum for Science, Technology & Innovation, where this year’s emphasis is placed on convergence technologies through multi-faceted workshops, B2B meetings, and updates to research funding tools. During the event the 10 finalists will pitch live to MITEF Greece’s judging panel that will select the winner and 2 runner-ups.
The 10 finalists compete for cash prizes and in-kind services that will help them grow and upscale their companies. Among the in-kind prizes are indicative consultancy and financial services from EY, personal development tools by Korn Ferry|Hay Group and more. Moreover, INTRASOFT International, the global ICT company, actively supports the MITEF Greece Startup Competition 2017 and will offer a tailored program focusing on technological know-how, mentoring, in-kind service support and networking for one of the 10 finalists of the competition, that focuses on areas such as Big Data, Internet of Things and Smart Cities. The winner will be selected according to its final rank in the competition and will be announced during the closing ceremony in July 2017.
