Dr. Stavros Papakonstantinidis specializes on Social Media Recruiting and Corporate Communication. His academic research explores the impact of online social networks on digital natives’ recruitment processes, combining his interest on Human Resources and Social Media.
He holds a Doctorate of Social Sciences from the University of Leicester, UK, a Masterof Science in Organizational and Strategic Communication from Ithaca College, USA (in collaboration with Cornell University, USA), and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Mass Media from the State University of New York at New Paltz, USA.
Upon his return to Greece in 2005 from the United States, he was awarded with the opportunity to teach communication and advertising courses as Adjunct Professor at the American College of Greece, Deree College. Since January 2005, he has had the privilege of offering a variety of fascinating communication courses, including Client Services in Advertising, Communication in Advertising, Creative Execution in Advertising, Copywriting & Creative Evaluation, Brand Building, Computer Mediated Communication, and Career Development through Social Media (Honor’s Level), as well as the Graduate Level course New Media and Public Relations.
Since September 2014, he lives and works abroad as Assistant Professor of communication at the American University of the Middle East in Kuwait (affiliated with Purdue University). He is also a co-author of a book on Social, Mobile and Local Marketing, which will be published by an American Publishing Company in 2015.
