Co-founder & Director, Planetek Hellas
He studied Business Administration at the University of Piraeus. He started his career in Planetek, a Downstream Value Adding group of companies, in 2004, as a young graduate trainee. In 2005 he returned from Italy to Greece and co-founded Planetek Hellas. Since then he managed different projects for the company in the Earth Observation and Geomatic field for important costumers such as the European Space Agency (ESA), the European Environmental Agency and others. He has matured experiences in the technology domain of Satellite Remote Sensing, Spatial Data Infrastructure, Space Astronomy Data Management, On Board and Ground Segment Space Software.
Key Areas of Expertise are: International Business Development, company methodologies and standards, HR management. He has very good knowledge of the European Space Market and very good knowledge of the Greek domestic demand for Earth Observation applications.
He is today the Director of Planetek Hellas, a company awarded by the European Commission as one of the most innovative European SMEs.
