Mentoring is a rewarding experience that will see you helping a young entrepreneurial team through the challenges and hurdles of starting a new venture.
We wish to engage dynamic associates who are either:
- A successful entrepreneur
- An investor, partner at a venture capital firm, or an angel investor
- An experienced academic or business person
Skills needed for mentors:
- Strong assessment skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Knowledge of award criteria and selection process
What is required from each mentor:
- To provide unbiased guidance
- To bounce ideas off
- To provide strategic support and thinking
- To help the entrepreneur to prioritise
- To build and grow Start up’s network
- To be committed to assigned entrepreneur during the mentorship phase
