Director, Entrepreneurship Hub at Anatolia School of Business at the American College of Thessaloniki
Dimitris Kontarinis received his BS in Electrical Engineering and Applied Mathematics with Magna cum Laude from Brown University and his M.S and Ph.D in robotics specializing in the relay of the sense of touch in teleoperated and virtual environments from Harvard University.
He is currently the Director of the Entrepreneurship Hub at Anatolia School of Business at the American College of Thessaloniki. In this capacity he launches and manages a number of activities supporting and mentoring entrepreneurs.
Earlier on his career he worked for the Filippou Group (an industrial conglomerate known for its Fage Total yogurt) continuing with his work with start ups and then his work for Velti (a mobile marketing and advertising company). Dr. Kontarinis was an Adjunct Lecturer at the National Technical University of Athens where he taught courses in the Electrical Engineering School.
He is a ΤΒΠ honors engineering society and ΣΧ honors scientific society member.
