Program Director, The Hellenic Initiative
Michael Printzos shares over 10 years of hands-on experience in the commercialization of R&D results, having worked with a number of companies and organizations in the USA, UK, Germany, Singapore and Greece.
Currently he is the Program Director of The Hellenic Initiative focusing among others on the promotion of entrepreneurship in Greece. In the past, he has been a trainer and invited speaker in conferences regarding innovation management and incubation. He is the co-founder of two start-ups, one focusing on the renewable energy sector based in Athens and the other one, a medical imaging software company, based in Oxford.
Michael is also a committee member of the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce (Innovation-Education-Entrepreneurship Committee) working towards the setup of the right entrepreneurial ecosystem and the adaptation of best practices and policies.
He is a holder of a Masters degree (Engineering Science) from Oxford University (UK). In 2015 he was elected one of the 40under40 European Young Leaders representing Greece.
