The MIT Enterprise Forum Greece, in collaboration with the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas organizes an open presentation of the MITEF Greece Startup Competition, that currently accepts applications from startups until January 31st 2019.
The event will take place at Amphitheatre Vergina in the CERTH Conference Centre, on Monday 21 January 2019, at 12.30. (CERTH HELLAS, 6th km Charilaou-Thermi Rd., GR 57001 Thermi, Thessaloniki).
The presentation aims to inform researchers and startups that focus in the broader technology sector about the value and the opportunities MITEF Greece 2019 Startup Competition provides to the participating entrepreneurs.
The MIT Enterprise Forum (MITEF) Greece Startup Competition is a business-skills accelerating competition in which Greek technology startups compete for prizes and international brand recognition. It aims to inspire, connect, coach and accelerate technology entrepreneurs, enabling early-stage entrepreneurs to transform ideas into world-changing companies.
This year MIT Enterprise Forum Greece proudly introduces the new “Energy and Mobility” track, in addition to the standard General Track that attracts startups from different technology and business verticals. The new “Energy and Mobility” track exclusively sponsored by Hellenic Petroleum, as part of the group’s broader initiatives to support innovation and new technologies in the Energy and Mobility sector, will give the opportunity to participants to meet and benefit from well-known experts of the market leader in this highly demanding and focused industry vertical.
Dr. Athanasios Konstantopoulos, President of the Board of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) will give a talk entitled “From Research to Production. The role of CERTH.”
Dr. Spyros Kiartzis, New Technologies and Alternative Energy Sources Manager at Hellenic Petroleum Group will give a talk entitled “Investing in new technologies in Energy and Mobility”.
