Presentation of MITEF Greece Startup Competition, Thessaloniki, 05.12.2016

MIT Enterprise Forum Greece in cooperation with the Anatolia School of Business at the American College of Thessaloniki, VentureGarden and The Hellenic Initiative, organize an open event for the presentation of MITEF Greece Startup Competition 2017, in order to inform startups operating in the field of technology and research on the new competition.
The keynote speaker of the event is Dr. Nikolaos Mavridis, Founder and Director of the Interactive Robots and Media Lab, PhD, Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Moreover, Vassilis Papakonstantinou, Chairman of MIT Enterprise Forum Greece, will inform the public about this year’s competition and representatives of the startups that participated in last year’s competition, Elektronio Handcrafted Vehicles, ErgoSensePro, EventReception.com and BAeTI, will share their experience.
During the event all interested parties had the opportunity to ask questions about their application.The MITEF Greece Startup Competition is a business skills accelerator in which Greek technology startups compete for prizes and global recognition. If you have an exciting new product or service, participating in MITEF Greece Startup Competition will give you access to the practical knowledge, mentorship, and resources to take your venture to the next level.
Applications for the competition are made through mitefcompetition.org/greece platform, started from October 28, 2016 and will expire at midnight on December 20, 2016. By the end of January the judges will evaluate the applications and the 25 semifinalists will be individually notified and will advance to the second round.
